insanın malıyla ve canıyla imtihana tabi onun başına geleceklere karşı sabretmesini bu sabrına karşılık da bir mükâfatı olduğunu başına gelen belâ ve musibetlerin birer imtihan vesilesi olduğunu peygamberlerden verdiği örneklerle bir imtihan,

ilim vb. derecelerinin farklı olmasını da bu imtihanın bir gereği olarak belirtir.

Dünya hayatında mevki ve mertebelerin sürekli el değiştirmesi,

ekonomik ve sosyal statülerin sürekli iniş ve yükselişler göstermesi,

narsistlerin tedavisi konusunu üçlendirdiği bir gerçektir..

Dünyanın ve içindekilerin diğer bir ifadeyle bu hayatın geçici olduğu ve bir gün herkes gibi kendisinin de öleceği düşüncesi insanın narsizmle mücadelesinde önemli bir zihinsel kontrol mekanizması görevi üstlenir..

İslâm,

Âhirete yer vermeyen karşılıklı övünme,

mal ve nesli çoğaltma yarışı olarak tarif etmekte ve devamında kuruyup giden bir çerçöp haline benzeterek geçici hayatının bir sonu olduğunu belirtme manasında yerin üstünde olan herkesin fani olduğunu,

Allâh hariç her şeyin yok olacağına imanı olan insan enaniyetini neye binaen yapmaktadır? sorusunu sormaktadır.

Zira ölüm düşüncesi,

insanın nefsî arzularının isteği doğrultusunda hareket etmesini engelleyen güçlü bir oto-kontrol mekanizmasıdır.

Bu anlamıyla ölüm insan için en büyük bir nasihattir..

İnsanın aciz ve muhtaç olduğunu gösterme, narsizmi engellemenin önemli zihinsel yollarından bir diğeri olabilir.

İnsanın arzularının,

isteklerinin,

maddî beklentilerinin,

hedeflerinin ve hayallerinin bir sınırı olmamasına karşılık imkânları kısıtlı,

ancak elinin ulaşabildiği yere kadardır.

Kur’ân,

Allâh’ın insana bir sıkıntı verdiğinde onu kimsenin gideremeyeceğini,

bir hayır ve nimet verdiğinde de kimsenin onu kendi mutlak güçlülüğüne diğer taraftan ise insanın acizliğine vurgu yapmaktadır.

Aynı şekilde insanın güçsüzlüğünü ifade babında

“başına bir olay,

bir sıkıntı geldiğinde Allâh’a tam inanmasını ve sadece güç sahibinin Allah olduğuna inanmasını ve kimsenin güç sahibi olmadığını bilmesi gerektiğini vurgulamaktadır.

Kendisi dilemedikçe hiçbir kimsenin hiçbir şey yapma güç ve kuvvetine sahip olamayacağına inanması gerekir..

Peygamberinin,

“Ben kendim için bile Allâh dilemedikçe hiçbir şeye kadir değilim,

zayıflıklarını ve acizliklerini hatırlatarak onlara, güç ve kuvvetlerinin sınırlı olduğunu belirtmektedir..
