Kur’ân,
bazı insanların ekonomik durumunun iyi
ve evlat sayısının daha fazla bir kısım farklılıklar nedeniyle kendilerini
diğer insanlardan üstün gördüklerini belirtir..
Din,
üstünlüğün bir kısım insanların
diğerlerini çalıştırması amacına binaen Allâh tarafından eden bir miras,
elinden alınmaz kişisel bir özellik
değil bir lütuf olarak bilinmesi gerektiğini öğütler..
insanlar Allâh’ın bir amaca binaen
kendilerine verdiği bu özelliklerden dolayı kendilerini diğer insanlardan
daha üstün,
daha seçkin ve daha çok saygıdeğer
bulma mülahazasına kapılabilmektedirler..
Üstün olma duygusu bazen ferdin
benliğinden kaynaklandığı gibi bazen de aidiyet mülahazasından
kaynaklanabilmektedir.. Bireysel bir kısım özelliklerden dolayı kendini
üstün ve farklı görmeden kaynaklanan bireysel narsizm olabildiği gibi bir
cemiyetin ya da bir milletin mensubu olmaktan kaynaklanan toplumsal narsizm de
olabilmektedir..
Kur’ân,
Mısır toplumunun
“Kendi kavimleri bizim hizmetçi
kölelerimiz iken şimdi biz bunlara mı çokluğunuz
size güven vermişti de bunun size bir
faydası görüyoruz,”
ifadelerinin grup ve/veya millet
narsizminin olduğunu göstermektedir.
Narsist
insanların bir özelliğinin de övülme ve kendilerini pazarlama isteği
olduğunu söylenmiştik..
Kur’ân
bunun daha ileri bir versiyonu olarak insanların sadece yaptıklarıyla ve sahip
oldukları bir kısım vasıflarla değil, yapmadıkları işlerle ve hiçbir katkıda
bulunmadıkları başarılarla da övülmeyi arzuladıklarını belirtir.
“Zannetme
ki,
yaptıklarından
ötürü sevinip şımaran, yapmadıkları işlerden dolayı da övülmek isteyen
övülmekten hoşlanan ve yaptığı işi dolayısıyla kendini büyük göstermek
isteyenlerin” buyurmak sureti ile konunun farklı bir yönüne dikkatleri
çekerek,
insanların
yapmadıkları işleri yapmış gibi ifade ederek övülmeyi arzulayanların
olabileceğini belirtir.
Allâh
rızası için yapılan yardımlar,
bu
uğurda feda edilen canlar vb. şeyler duyulma,
bilinme
ve itibar görme kaygısıyla yapılmış olabilir ve insanlar bunu kendileri ve
aileleri için bir saygınlık vesilesi kabul edebilirler. Ancak din,
her
halükârda yapılan işlerde niyetlerin önemine dikkat çeker ve insanların
takdir ve teveccühlerinin önemsizliğinden bahsederek asıl önemli olan
Allah’ın rızası olduğunu belirtir.. Narsist tavır ve davranışların sadece
inanmayanlarda değil inanan insanlarda da görülebileceğini belirten
Kur’ân,
bu
tür tavır ve emirlerini yaşamadığı halde çok dindar ve takva sahibi
görünen ve bundan dolayı da takdir edilip övülmeyi bekleyen insanların var
olması narsizmin inanan insanlar için de bir problem olabileceğini
göstermektedir..
