Altı saate yakın süren yolculuğumuzun hemen tamamına yakını türbülansla geçti..

Nijer’in başkenti Niamey Diori Hamani Havaalanına indiğimizde,

Gözümün önüne çöl havaalanları geldi!..

Çöl havaalanı da olsa onlara hayran kaldım,

Niamey Diori Hamani’yi görünce..

Derme çatma ve çok basit bir yapı ile karşılaştık..

Girişte doldurduğumuz belge ile pasaportlarımızı verdik polise!..

Gerekli inceleme,

Sorular ve alınan parmak izlerinden sonar pasaportumu elinde sıkı sıkı tutarak yüzüme bakan polise;

“eksik bir şey mi var?” diye sordum..

“Hayır” dedi görevli polis..

“O zaman pasaportumu alayım”

dedim..

Dedim ama hala polis pasaportumu elinde ve kendine yakın tutmaya devam etti..

Sonra elimi uzatarak pasaportumu adeta kurtardım!..

Sonra düşündüm ki “rüşvet” bekliyor ve üzüldüm!..

İşlemlerimizi tamamladıktan sonra önceden bizim için tahsis edilen araçla bekleyen Musa Kazım Eren’le buluştuk..

Yanında poşetle elinde para taşıyan bir yerli olduğu halde..

Esenleştik..

Sonra sadece havaalanında bu imkanın olduğunu söyledi Musa Abi ve paramızı yerli paraya çevirdik..

Yola koyulduk hep birlikte..

Havaalanı parkını terkederken yoldaki bariyeri bir delikanlının eliyle kaldırması dikkatimi çekti..

Gideceğimiz Tera 200 km uzaklıkta!..

Yorgun ve uykusuz İmam Ali dört saate yakın bir zamanda tamamladığımız yolda iki defa aracı kontrolünden çıkardı;

Ucuz atlattık!..

Düşündüm ki;

Allah (cc) sizler adına çıktığımız bu yolda bize yardım etti,

Elhamdülillah..

Niamey-Tera Otobanında (1) bir kaç yerde polis kontrolü ile karşılaştık..

İlk kontrol otoban ücretini tehsil etme bariyeriydi!..

Yolun sağına ve soluna yerleştirilen muhtemelen içleri betonla doldurulmuş iki varil!..

Variller birbirine uçurtma kuyruğu gibi hazırlanmış iple bağlanmış..

Ücretinizi ödedikten sonra polis ipin ucunu eliyle serbest bırakıyor ve geçiyorsunuz!..

Sonra aynı şekilde birkaç kontrol noktası ile karşılaştık..

Her defasında polis el feneri ile bize baktı ve

Rehberimiz bizim Türkiye’den geldiğimizi söyleyince hiçbir şey sormadan geçmemize izin verdi!..

Sabaha karşı 03.00 gibi kalacağımız otele yerleştik..

Ertesi gün bizi nasıl bir maceranın karşılayacağını bilmiyorduk..
